the renegade bride

the wild, wacky adventures of a bridal industry insider +newlywed + new homeowner and (in practice)renovation-maven. Whee!

Now that the wedding is nigh and everyone who was getting one got an invite, I thought I’d share a few pics of my invitations.  They are letterpressed on lettura paper in ivory, in shades of charcoal and yellow:

Alicia with Seaside Invitations did an absolutely beautiful job.

The envelope lining is a Japanese Paper

On the exterior envelope, we did our vintage Hawaiian Stamps. Loved these. The envelopes are a metallic charcoal gray, and the address label was a flat wraparound in ivory.

Alicia hand-drew and colored this whimsical map of our wedding location. Here’s where my love of maps began, and I started obsessing a little …

Our RSVP cards.

I wrapped the bundle in yellow and white baker’s twine and then packaged them up in the envelopes. We’ll have pro pics of the entire suite from our photog at the wedding, so I’ll be sure to post more then 🙂

Programs, menu cards, and escort cards will have to wait until after the wedding!  TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY!!!!
